How to Set Up DNS Records with Domain Providers
If you are a RediRedi Premium plan subscriber and own a custom domain, you can connect it to your online catalog. Below, we explain the process and how to configure DNS records with your domain provider.
Requirements
To use your custom domain with RediRedi, you must:
Be subscribed to the Premium Plan.
Own a registered domain with a domain provider (such as GoDaddy, Hostinger, etc.).
How Does the RediRedi Process Work?
Contact RediRedi Support: Inform our team that you wish to use your custom domain.
Receive DNS Records: Our team will provide you with two CNAME records formatted as follows:
Type: CNAME
Name: _example123456789 (replace this with the value provided by support)
Value: example.verify.rdi.store (replace this with the value provided by support)
Type: CNAME
Name: www
Value: example.rdi.store (replace this with the value provided by support)Insert CNAME Records: After receiving the CNAME information, log into your domain provider’s control panel and add these DNS records.
Submit Proof for Validation: Take a screenshot of the DNS settings once the records are entered and send it to RediRedi support for validation.
Domain Connection: If everything is correct, our team will connect your domain to the catalog.
General Instructions for Adding DNS Records
The process of adding DNS records is similar across most domain providers:
1. Log into your domain provider’s control panel.
2. Look for “DNS Settings” or “Manage DNS.”
3. Choose to add a new record and select “CNAME” as the record type.
4. Enter the CNAME records provided by RediRedi.
5. Save the changes and take a screenshot of the DNS settings once the records are entered and send it to RediRedi support for validation
